I took one of the EC-Council courses i had a good experience with it. The training material was clear, easy to follow, and it didn’t feel like everything was being rushed. I also liked the examples they used because they made some of the topics click a lot faster for me.
A few parts did take some re-reading, but that’s expected with this kind of content. Overall, it felt practical and not just like sitting through endless theory, which I really appreciated. By the end, I felt more confident and genuinely glad I stuck with it.

The instructor, like, really knew his stuff, you know? He explained things in a way that made it clear, and I could tell he had a lot of experience with the material

I needed to knock out some CPEs to keep my cert active, and umm, EC-Council made the whole thing straightforward. The portal was easy enough to figure out, my uploads went through without any issues, and I didn’t have to contact support or follow up on anything. Overall, it was a smooth experience.

I was checking out a course on eccouncil the discount situation kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I saw one promo, went ahead with it, and then not long after, a better deal popped up. Which happens, I guess. But when I reached out, support wasn’t really much help since I had already paid. Just felt frustrating. Like the training itself might be fine, but the way they handle discounts makes the pricing feel hard to trust.

I really wanted to make this part of my daily routine, but it’s been a bit frustrating to use consistently. Some parts feel less intuitive than I expected (maybe it just takes more getting used to), and I find myself avoiding it on busy days. It’s not terrible, but for something I’d use every day, I wish it felt smoother and easier

I tried the hands-on labs, they were kind of a mess. A bunch of the steps didn’t match what I was seeing on screen, and the VM was painfully slow. Support wasn’t terrible, but they weren’t exactly helpful either. I did learn a little, but for the price, I expected way less of this buggy nonsense and a much smoother practice experience...

I canceled my course and was a little unsure if the refund would actually come through, you know? It took a few days, but I did get it back in the end, so I guess that’s normal. Overall, it worked out fine

I went with EC-Council mainly because the cert is well known in cyber security. For me, having something that employers and other tech people actually recognize made the decision a lot easier. It definetly helped in conversations when talking about my skills and experience. Overall, I’m happy with the choice. If industry recognition matters to you, EC-Council is worth checking out.

Some of the chapters felt a bit outdated, and the practice questions didn’t really match the exam style that well. For the price, I was expecting clearer notes and better guidance. It was okaaaay, but not something I’d be super excited to recommend.

Signing up wasn’t the smoothest experience for me. The payment went through fine, but after that I felt like I had to stay on top of everything myself, checking emails and making sure I wasn’t missing some important next step. The onboarding was a bit confusing, with a lot of links but not much clear guidance on what to do first. Support did get back to me, but it took longer than I expected. For the price, I thought the process would feel more organized and reassuring.

The sales info felt kind of unclear to me at first, though maybe I was just missing something obvious. I had to ask twice before getting a reply, which made me wonder if I was being impatient. They did eventually get back to me, so it worked out, but the beginning was a bit confusing.

Overall, I had a decent experience and there were definitely some things I appreciated. The service seemed solid, but I was left wanting a clearer explanation of what actually happened. A little more communication would have made the whole experience feel much better.

I took my EC-Council exam online the proctoring went smoother than I expected. The check-in took a little while, but the proctor was helpful and explained things clearly, so I can't really complain. Once the test started, everything worked fine and I didn’t run into any major issues. That’s basically what you hope for with an online exam, right?

I thought eccouncil.org was easy to follow. I’m new to cyber security, so that helped a lot. The lessons explain the basics in a simple way. I didn’t feel totally lost. A few sections had a lot packed in. I had to reread them a couple of times. But overall, it felt like a solid place to start.

I was expecting EC-Council to have a stronger community vibe with better feedback from other learners, but it felt thin to me. When I had questions, replies were slow sometimes, and a lot of the answers felt like people were just guessing or sending me back to the official pages. The course material is there, sure, but if you actually get stuck, it’s not that easy to find useful help from real people going through it too. For what it costs, I figured there’d be more support around the whole thing.

I took this certification hoping it would help me stand out or lead to better job opportunities, but that just wasn’t my experience. After finishing it, I didn’t notice any real boost in interviews, recruiter interest, or career progress. Based on what happened for me, it felt like a waste of time and money

The course itself was alright, nothing amazing but I did learn some stuff. The virtual labs were kind of all over the place for me though. A few days everything loaded fine and I could get through the exercises, then other times it would lag or kick me out halfway through, which got annoying fast. Maybe it was my internet, but also everything else seemed to work, so I don’t know. Support did answer me, just not exactly quickly. Overall it wasn’t terrible, but for what it costs, I feel like the lab setup should’ve been more reliable

I felt like it was too expensive for what you actually get. The course costs and exam fees started piling up quickly, and after I paid, I kind of had that uneasy feeling like, “Did I just overpay for this?” A lot of the material felt basic for the price, and the support didn’t really make me feel any better about it. Once the payment was done, I didn’t feel as confident that the value was really there. For the amount they charge, I expected a much smoother and more helpful experience. I wouldn’t pay for it again.

It took a little while, but they did end up fixing my login issue. Not the fastest process, but at least I can get back in now, so I guess that’s what matters, right?
